It’s a brand new era at Holy Cross Hospital and we are making a Commitment to Excellence.
The past few years have been challenging for Holy Cross Hospital and we are dedicated to regaining the trust and support of our community. Under the leadership of our new CEO, Bill Patten, and many new administrators, we are committed to making Holy Cross Hospital your hospital of choice.
One of the methods we are using to reach our goal includes working with the Studer Group. Working closely with them we have made a Commitment to Excellence.
We believe our commitment to excellence is an opportunity to create an aligned culture that is accountable to achieving outcomes together so that everyone from our Employees, Board of Directors, Physicians and Medical Staff, Managers/Directors and Administrators are all on the same page working together with the same goals and values. It all comes back to making healthcare better. Working together, we can create great places for employees to work, physicians to practice medicine and patients to receive care.
We partner with the Studer group because they work with hundreds of hospitals. This helps them identify best practices, which help us get better faster. We are investing in our employees and ultimately our patients, visitors, and our community.
Healthcare is changing rapidly and the Studer Group will assist us as we learn to adapt more efficiently and effectively. Studer Group partners with organizations to build a sustainable culture that promotes accountability, fosters innovation, and consistently delivers a great patient experience and the best quality outcomes over time. By installing an execution framework called Evidence-Based Leadership? (EBL), Organizations are able to align goals, actions and processes, and execute quickly. This framework creates the foundation that enables transformation in this era of continuous change.
They have created a customized approach and will provide trainings, education, and guidance to help our organization become the best place for our community to receive quality health care. This is a long term investment not only for our organization but for our community as well.
Our investment in education and training is for all employees at every level of the organization from the medical staff to employees, managers and directors, as well as administration. By investing in these educational opportunities, we know we will see tangible improvements in all aspects of the organization.
We launched our Commitment to Excellence (C2E) initiative in October and are already immersed in trainings, education, and guidance from the Studer Group.
We are already seeing positive results in our quality of care and employee morale and are looking forward to the long term effects this commitment will make in terms of quality of care, patient satisfaction, and employee happiness.
Our Commitment to Excellence is a promise that you will always receive great care in Taos!
Behavior Standards Signing Ceremonies
As a confirmation of the entire organizations commitment excellence, we are having all departments host a signing ceremony. All employees in that department sign to recognize the importance of the effort as well as to promise their own participation.
