Fields: First Steps

Cristina moved to Taos with her husband and son in 2005. Her daughter was born at the NM birth center in 2007. Cristina has worked at TCCY, CAV and Taos First Steps as a Home Visitor, and facilitated classes with Children’s Trust Fund for two years before becoming the current Coordinator. She is certified in Infant massage, Circle of Security, Love and Logic and Nurturing Parenting and Fussy Baby Network-FAN. She has grown CTF to service families prenatally to age 18. All of the classes offered under CTF are in English and Spanish. Cristina believes in 100% access and collaborating with all agencies in the community to support the families to grow and thrive. Cristina also owns Coyote Moon with her husband. Their small shop has allowed her to connect with visitors as well as locals in the community.
Cristina loves her two wonderful children and feels blessed to be able to raise them in Taos. She is passionate about life, her family and friends. Cristina and her family enjoy spending time together and making memories. They have traveled to various states in Mexico to immerse themselves in cultural and culinary celebrations. Cristina feels she is constantly learning, evolving and thriving. She is grateful to be a part of this diverse and amazing community that is Taos.
