Fields: Physical Therapist
A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Diana has lived and worked throughout the United States and is very pleased to have finally settled in the beautiful mountains above Taos. Diana graduated with a degree in physical therapy in 1996, and has gained extensive experience in multiple practice settings, including hospital, acute rehabilitation, long term rehabilitation, outpatient and home health. She particularly loves treating patients with neurological diagnoses, including acute and chronic stroke, and traumatic brain injury, weaving together the principles of standard neuro practice and Feldenkrais theory, guiding people to create new neural pathways and improve function. She also has a background in the treatment of orthopedic issues both acute and chronic, including scoliosis, with extensive experience in heating hip and knee replacements at all stages of recovery.
While not at work, Diana enjoys the pristine environment of high mountain living with her partner and his two dogs, while renovating their adobe, bird watching, stargazing and hiking beneath Jicarita Peak. She also enjoys gardening, cross country skiing and exploring this new, rich environment while getting to know her neighbors and community.
