Physical Therapist

Fields: Physical Therapist

Lisa is a native of Santa Fe, and is thrilled to return home to New Mexico after too many years away. Lisa’s yoga practice inspired an interest in the “medicine of movement,” and ultimately led to her passion and life’s work in Physical Therapy. She has a strong background in orthopedics, and a passion for treating pelvic floor dysfunction. She also loves to treat patients with chronic pain syndromes, and those in recovery from cancers of the breast, prostate, abdomen, and pelvis. Her treatment philosophy emphasizes care for the whole person, and looking at the big picture when treating musculoskeletal dysfunction.  Lisa believes in empowering patients through education and incorporating principles of modern pain science.

Prior to her career in physical therapy, Lisa had a brief career in the culinary arts.  She maintains her passion for cooking, and also enjoys hiking, paddle-boarding, music, and dabbling in various types of art.  She lives in Taos with her husband, son, and Maine Coon kitty.
