Community Health Services
The Community Health Services Department is dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of our community through a variety of free programs and resources. We provide services that help families, individuals, and patients access the care and support they need — whether that means navigating health insurance through our Benefit Navigation program, finding encouragement and guidance through Cancer Support Services, or receiving early childhood and parenting support with First Steps. We also lead community initiatives like Taos Alive, Taos Loves Kids, each designed to promote healthy lifestyles, prevent substance misuse, and improve access to essential healthcare.
Together, these programs reflect Holy Cross’s commitment to caring for our community beyond the walls of the hospital — meeting people where they are, and helping them live healthier, fuller lives.
