October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer. As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Holy Cross Hospital hosts events and fundraisers to Paint Taos Pink! throughout the month of October.

The 2020 pandemic resulted in many people postponing their regular check ups and appointments with their health care provider. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month we are reminding everyone that early detection saves lives and Holy Cross Hospital now has a state-of-the-art 3D mammography machine that offers the best breast cancer detection in Northern New Mexico. Learn more about our mammography services right here in Taos.

Holy Cross Hospital’s Cancer Support Services is supported by fundraising and grants and provides non-medical support to people in Taos & Colfax Counties who are struggling with cancer. Support your community this month by taking part in one of our Paint Taos Pink! events. You can support by taking part in any of the following options:

  • Dine-Out for the Cause
