A Wildflower Retreat is a beautiful, quiet space just outside the Town of Taos in a rural setting, Located on 2 acres down a dead end road in the Canon Heights area with views of Taos Mountain outside your great room window. Filled with artistic creations,, glorious sunsets, greenery, hiking trails and gardens. Perfect for a solo writer, traveling medical folks and travelers who wish for longer stays. The ceilings are graced with traditional vigas and latillas. Thick adobe walls keep the place cool in summer and warm in winter and provide a great sound barrier. The unit is heated by radiant heat running under the flagstones and cherry wood floors. The unit is 572 square feet including a private entrance, mud room, one bedroom, extra toilet closet and a large full bathroom with shower/bath combination. There is a modern kitchenette with cookware including a Breville counter top convection oven. Pots and pans, silverware, dishes bedding and towels are included in the furnishings. All utilities are included in the price including Verizon high speed internet. I would love to welcome your beasties but because I have three of my own, I have to decline pets to keep the peaceful atmosphere we all desire. Parking is easy as there are two designated spaces next to the unit. I will be housed in the adjacent part of the house, separated by an impenetrable turquoise wood door, but I spend most of my time in a different studio at the back of the property.
