Diana Armendariz

Diana became part of the First Steps home visitor team in November of 2024. Diana graduated from UNM-Taos with an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She has gained experience as a Developmental Specialist and Service Coordinator for FIT services in Taos, NM, daycare teacher in El Paso TX and Administrative Assistant at a Child Development Center in Fort Wainwright Alaska. Diana is originally from Mexico and came to Taos with her family in 2003.
Diana enjoys spending time outdoors with her daughter and family. Diana is very happy to serve our diverse community, what she enjoys the most about her job is the strong relationships that can be built with families and their gratitude towards the program.
