Also known as tennis elbow is a painful condition that involves repetitive overuse movements at the wrist and elbow. The extensor muscles of your forearm become aggravated, which causes pain at the hand and forearm when attempting to grasp, twist or carry objects. Symptoms may include pain and tenderness over the elbow and hand, weakness at an elbow and hand, and numbness and tingling.
