Holy Cross Medical Center offers a paid, hands-on Medical Assistant (MA) Training Program that prepares you for one of the most essential roles in healthcare. With full-time employment, online coursework, and supportive clinical training, this program is an ideal first step into a long-term healthcare career.

What Medical Assistants Do

Medical Assistants are key members of the care team. They:

  • Room patients and prepare charts
  • Take vital signs
  • Draw blood and collect specimens
  • Assist with medications and minor procedures
  • Set up sterile environments
  • Support providers and clinic operations

No experience is required. We train you in everything you need to know.

Program Highlights

  • Earn while you learn with full-time paid work
  • Online coursework in medical terminology, anatomy, pharmacology, and more
  • Hands-on clinical training in Holy Cross clinics
  • CCMA certification required within six months
  • Two-year full-time commitment
  • Clear advancement path: MA I → MA II → Lead MA

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Full-time availability with a 2-Year Commitment
  • CCMA certification within six months
