Holy Cross Hospital receives a four-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
“We are pleased with our four-star rating”, said Bill Patten, CEO for Holy Cross Hospital. “We have actively been striving toward improvements and this rating speaks to those efforts.”
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services uses a five-star quality rating system to measure the experiences and outcomes Medicare beneficiaries have with their healthcare system — the Star Rating Program. Healthcare organizations are rated on a scale of 1 to 5 stars, with 5 being the highest.
Star ratings are an important patient tool used throughout the health care industry. CMS also uses the star ratings systems to rank hospital quality, allowing patients to make informed decisions about where they will receive care.
