Our professional staff of physical, occupational, and speech therapists specialize in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation in Taos. Our team in Taos is here to guide you through a personalized recovery plan with treatment goals that are important to your physical & occupational therapy goals. Our therapy and rehabilitation services usually help decrease pain, help you return to pre-injury function, lifestyle restoration, improve sleep and help with other issues related to your injury or discomfort.
Our Taos physical therapists utilize a variety of techniques and methods including manual (hands-on) approaches, movement, and gait analysis, exercise instruction, return-to-activity guidelines, pain management, orthoses fabrication, and use of desensitizing modalities as indicated.
We have the only Certified Hand Therapist in Taos and offer many other occupational therapy services to Taos and Northern New Mexico.
Holy Cross Hospital requires a physician referral to initiate treatment. Various prior authorization requirements, co-pays, and deductibles may apply. Our administrative staff will be happy to help you determine your specific requirements. Referrals can be faxed to (575) 737-9445.
We are contracted providers for Medicare, Medicaid, most commercial plans, worker’s compensation, and VA.
As a department of Holy Cross Medical Center in Taos, we have instant access to pertinent medical records including test results, diagnostic imaging and operative reports. This can greatly assist us in understanding your problem and developing a plan of treatment.
